Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of duohr.com, the DuoHR signup and demo-request flows, and any DuoHR trial or paid workspace (together, the “Service”), provided by Impacteers Technologies Pvt Ltd. By creating a workspace or submitting a form on this site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. The Service
DuoHR is a multi-tenant HRMS covering employee management, attendance, leave, payroll, performance, helpdesk, reporting, and optional AI-assisted workflows. Feature availability depends on the plan and modules selected at signup and can be changed by the tenant admin from the in-product configuration area. We may add, change, or retire individual features as the product evolves; we will not remove a feature a paid plan explicitly depends on without reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and workspaces
Signing up creates a tenant workspace and an administrator account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the company and admin details you provide, for keeping admin credentials confidential, and for the actions taken under accounts your organisation creates inside the workspace (for example, employee or manager logins your admin provisions).
4. Free trial and subscriptions
New workspaces may start on a free trial with no card required. Continuing past the trial requires a paid subscription. Billing, cancellation, and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
5. Customer data
As between you and DuoHR, your organisation owns the employee, attendance, leave, payroll, and other data you load into your workspace. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and will make a reasonable export of your data available on request during an active subscription or within a reasonable period after cancellation.
6. AI-assisted features
Where enabled, AI-assisted features (such as drafting letters, summarising records, or suggesting configuration) are decision support only — they do not replace HR, payroll, or legal judgement, and are never the sole basis for an employment action. Tenant admins can review AI-assisted outputs before they take effect and can disable AI features for their workspace at any time.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to store or process data you are not lawfully entitled to hold, to attempt to access another tenant's data, to reverse-engineer or resell the Service without a written agreement, or to interfere with the Service's availability or security.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and will communicate planned maintenance windows in advance where practical. We do not currently publish a contractual uptime percentage; enterprise customers with specific availability requirements can discuss them with our team before signing.
9. Intellectual property
The DuoHR software, website, and branding are owned by Impacteers Technologies Pvt Ltd. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own HR operations for the term of your subscription — it does not transfer ownership of the software.
10. Termination
You may cancel at any time as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate a workspace for non-payment, breach of these terms, or unlawful use, and will make reasonable efforts to notify the tenant admin before doing so except where immediate action is needed to protect the Service or other tenants.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuoHR's aggregate liability arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the location of Impacteers Technologies Pvt Ltd's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, unless a separately signed Master Subscription Agreement states otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date and, where required, communicated to tenant admins directly.
